SHAHI MUTTER PANEER IN CASHEW GRAVY

  You can make shahi mutter paneer in cashew gravy easily and yummy.



INgredients:

Ghee         -  1/2 cup
Onions(chopped fine)-2
Ginger - garlic paste - 2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Salt and pepper - to taste
Tomatoes (pureed) - 3
Green peas (shelled) - 250 g
Water - 1/2 cup
Saffron (soaked in milk) - a few strands
Flour (mixed in milk) - 2 tsp
Milk  - 1 cup
Paneer - 250 g
Almonds - 50 g
Green chillies - 3
Raisins - 8-10
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch

Method

   Heat ghee and fry onions till golden. Add ginger-garlic paste,garam masala powder,salt and pepper to taste. Fry well. Add tomato puree and keep stirring on low heat for 5 mts. Add green peas are done. Dissilve saffron and flour in one cup milk to a smooth paste .
              Grind cashewnuts with a little milk and add to the above mixture. Add the milk mixture to the green pea-tomato puree in the pan and keep stirring constantly,till the gravy thickens. Add paneer slices, cover the pan and simmer on low heat for 5 mts. Remove from heat. Garnish with almond slices, green chillies, raisins and coriander leaves.
