Ingredients:
Paneer - 400 g
Capsicum (cut into thick slices) - 3
Large onions (cut into thick slices) - 2
Big tomatoes (cut into slices) - 2
Tomato puree - 2tbsp
Panchphoron - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1tsp
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Desi ghee - 1/2 tbsp
For garnishing:
Coriander leaves
Method:
Cut paneer into finger-sized pieces. In a kettle/degchi, heat ghee and add panchphoron seeds, cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes. Put in all the vegetables, ginger paste and tomato puree, and stir well.
Add salt, garam masala and red chilli powder and cover with a lid while cooking on a medium flame for 20-25 mts, stirring often. Mix in paneer fingers and blend well. Serve hot. Garnish with coriander leaves.
